PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Programme Manager will oversee complex programmes across multiple teams, ensuring initiatives are aligned, delivered efficiently, and achieve business and customer outcomes. The role focuses on embedding regulatory requirements and strengthening operational risk and control frameworks within UK Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead complex programmes spanning multiple projects and teams
• Align initiatives with strategy and operational objectives
• Identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive delivery and governance
• Support process improvements and embedding of regulatory requirements
• Mentor teams and encourage continuous improvement
• Ensure programmes deliver quality outcomes for the business and customers

DAY -TO-DAY

• Plan and coordinate programme schedules and resources
• Track progress, escalate risks, and remove blockers
• Facilitate cross-team alignment and communication
• Prepare updates and reports for leadership
• Support teams to solve issues and deliver on objectives

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience managing complex programmes in regulated financial services
• Familiarity with multiple delivery methods (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience in operational functions, including Customer Contact Centres
• Background in process improvement, change management, and regulatory compliance
