Temporary School Administrator - Opportunity to go Perm!

Part time, office based - Term time only (39 weeks per year)

Start Date: ASAP - cover until permanent staff member is appointed

Monday, Wednesday, Friday ideally but flexible on days and hours (19.5 hours per week)

Overview:

An exciting new temporary opportunity to join an outstanding school as their Administrator providing a reprographics service to the staff. Strong IT skills are a must along with someone who is proactive and ideally has school experience.

Daily duties:

• Organising and advising about central reprographic and related equipment.
• Printing and photocopying teaching materials/resources for staff.
• Providing administrative support as directed by the Office Manager.
• Providing a reprographics service to the staffing body, including but not limited to printing/photocopying/ comb-binding/laminating syllabuses, schemes of work, examination papers and teaching materials, Tutor boards, school posters.
• Keeping up to date records of relevant central consumable materials, advising the Finance Officer/Office Manager on stock levels, assisting with ordering stock, and maintaining stock tidily and in good order.
• Providing "first line" maintenance for all reprographic equipment and liaising with outside agencies to provide maintenance of reprographic equipment beyond "first line" maintenance of equipment.
• Organising and maintaining an inventory of all reprographic equipment.
• Advising on the layout and printing of subject teaching materials.
• Attending in-service training during working hours as appropriate.
• General administration support, including emergency Reception cover, as directed by the Office Manager.

Required:

• Strong IT skills
• Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisation skills
