Brief

We're looking for a Business Consultant with 3 - 6+ year's experience in digital transformation or IT consulting projects.

This is a 3-month contract role, working across a fast-paced programme. Candidates must be comfortable translating business needs into clear, testable requirements and working closely with delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse business needs, processes, and pain points
  • Translate into clear requirements for technical teams
  • Support design, delivery, and testing
  • Ensure alignment with programme goals and traceability of requirements
  • Communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders
  • Flag risks, issues, and blockers through project governance

Essential Experience (please do not apply without this)

  • 3-6 years as a Business Consultant or Business Analyst
  • Experience in enterprise systems or large-scale digital transformation projects
  • Proven ability to gather and document business and functional requirements
  • Skilled in workshops, stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and gap analysis
  • Strong written communication - able to produce BRDs, user stories, flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience supporting solution design, QA, and UAT
  • Confident working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile frameworks
  • Certifications such as BCS BA, Agile BA, or ITIL
  • Experience in regulated environments or professional services

Preferred Qualification

  • Degree in Technical Communications, Information Technology, or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Certifications (desirable):
    • ITIL Foundation
    • Knowledge-Centred Service (KCS)
    • ServiceNow Knowledge Management or ITSM
