We’re working with a well-established transport consultancy seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their Hampshire office. This is a great opportunity for a design-focused engineer looking to lead technical highway infrastructure projects.

 

You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering practical, high-quality design solutions across a range of transport schemes.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Producing and reviewing detailed highway design outputs (DMRB, MfS, MCHW etc.)
• Solving complex design challenges and ensuring compliance with standards
• Supporting junior engineers and guiding CAD output
• Managing your own tasks and contributing to wider programme planning
• Preparing fee proposals and managing external sub-consultants

 

What you’ll bring:

• Solid experience in highway or transport infrastructure design
• Knowledge of relevant design standards and CDM regulations
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and a good eye for detail
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
