SEN Teaching Assistant - Redhill (Permanent, Term-Time Only)

£13.51-£14.45 per hour 40 hrs/week Secondary SEND School (Autism focus)

Reed is working with a SEND Secondary School in the Redhill area supporting students aged 11-16 with Autism, social communication needs, emotional regulation, and sensory processing differences. Join a growing team making a real impact from day one.

The Role - What You'll Do

• Support teaching and learning across a specialist Autism-focused setting
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour (including behaviour that challenges)
• Build supportive, trusting relationships to help pupils feel safe and ready to learn
• Adapt learning activities, reinforce classroom teaching, and prepare resources
• Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development
• Help deliver a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to individual needs

Requirements

• GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4+)
• Level 2 Supporting Teaching & Learning (or willingness to work towards)
• Understanding of Safeguarding & Child Protection
• Experience with SEND, Autism, or behaviour support (desirable)
• Experience in schools or education settings (advantageous)
