Electrical Installation Trainer

Our client, a prominent educational group specialising in energy and training, is looking for a Electrical Installation Trainer at their Slough trianing centre on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role will involve managing and mentoring apprentices to excel in their end point assessments, making a substantial difference in their professional development.

• Delivering high-quality training sessions in electrical installation to apprentices
• Managing and mentoring a dynamic caseload of apprentices
• Preparing apprentices for their end point assessments
• Utilising various teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
• Engaging with employers to ensure successful apprentice placements
• Monitoring and assessing apprentice progress regularly
• Providing constructive feedback and support to apprentices
• Keeping accurate records and documentation as required

• Experience in teaching in a classroom environment
• A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (City & Guilds 8202, 2365, 2330 or 2360)
• 18th Edition & AM2 / AM2S certification
• A1/CAVA certificate
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Ability to manage and mentor apprentices effectively
• Passion for technical environments and apprentice development
