Job Description:
- Responding to client requests and preparing tailored proposals.
- Conducting research and managing availability and pricing for hotels, restaurants, and event venues.
- Supporting marketing efforts and contributing to product development initiatives.
- Ensuring timely and effective responses to client briefs.
- Assisting in optimising conversion rates and profit margins.
- Managing relationships with regular agency partners and clients.
- Overseeing suppliers, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensuring the smooth execution of multiple projects.
- Preparing and maintaining working documents.
- Upholding and representing company policies and requirements.
- Addressing queries and requirements from delegates, clients, and consumers.
- Assisting with office administration, including managing client and supplier databases, handling supplier payments, and overseeing credit control.
- Coordinating events on-site and managing suppliers and staff during events.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of A Level education with at least 4 years of work experience, or a degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the travel or event industries is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of London s hotels and event venues is a plus.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Team player with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Versatile and comfortable working in a small company setting.
- Flexibility to handle the demands of a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Capable of managing multiple projects at once.
- Practical, common-sense approach to problem-solving.
