1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2Location: WandsworthContract: Full-Time Term Time OnlyHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Academics are currently working in partnership with a warm, welcoming, and inclusive mainstream primary school in the heart of Wandsworth. The school is seeking a committed and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a KS2 pupil with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil across the school day

• Support emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and engagement with learning

• Implement and follow individual behaviour support plans and SEN strategies

• Encourage social interaction and independence where appropriate

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally in a mainstream or SEN setting

• A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour support

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

• A proactive and flexible attitude, with a genuine passion for SEN
