Risk Associate

Statera Talent are working alongside a brokerage with plans to expand its risk function as part of a broader build across its trading activity.

It will be a broad, hands-on role focused on exposure monitoring, reconciliations and daily risk reporting, helping to strengthen processes and controls as the business grows.

The focus is on making sure everything around the trading flow runs smoothly.

You'll be joining a small, collaborative environment where decisions are made quickly and where there's the opportunity to build structure, tighten controls and shape how the risk function develops as the business grows.

Requirements

• 4-8 years' experience in a brokerage, trading firm or similar markets environment

• Strong understanding of trade flow, margining and client exposure

• Experience producing or reviewing risk or P&L reports

• Confident using Excel, with VBA or Python experience a plus

• Comfortable in a lean setup where risk, operations and reporting overlap

• Proactive, detail-focused and genuinely interested in how markets operate day to day
