HGV Drivers

As a HGV Driver at Whistl, you will:

• Operate and maintain your HGV vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service,
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.

42 hours guaranteed, with overtime paid at time and a half after 42 hours.

We pride ourselves on consistently providing exceptional service, so our HGV Drivers should have strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach, as well as:

• A valid HGV licence with no more than 3 points
• A CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
• A digital tachograph card
• An excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents and a strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• The ability to handle physical demands, including heavy lifting and long hours on the road
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
