Job Vacancy: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7)
Location: NHS Hospital, Central London

Start Date: February 2025
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Hourly Rate: £25 - £31 per hour
Contract Type: Locum

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our client s pharmacy team at a prestigious NHS hospital in Central London. This exciting opportunity to cover medicine wards and offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to medical staff on the Medicine Ward
• Review and monitor patient medication regimes
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices
• Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Dispense and counsel on medication as required
• Contribute to the development of patient care strategies
  
  

Requirements:

• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, ideally with NHS Hospital wards-based experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Knowledge of current pharmaceutical practices and legislation
• Flexibility to work the specified hours
