Billing Manager - Logistics

Marc Daniels are working with a global logistics company located in Hounslow who are looking for a Billing Manager to join their finance team. The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) and includes many market leading benefits.

Experience in a similar role within logistics is essential

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of billing specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Billing Process Management: Oversee the entire billing cycle, from rate application and data entry to invoice generation and distribution.
• Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, adhering to client contracts, pricing agreements, and regulatory requirements.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze billing reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• System Optimization: Evaluate and optimize billing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing billing-related questions and concerns.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to streamline billing operations and reduce errors.
• Staying Up-to-Date: Remain current on industry regulations and best practices related to logistics billing.

• Be able to commute to Hounslow
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience within logistics
• Experience managing a similar-sized team
• Accurate with a strong attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
