Job Role - External Facades Manager

Location - Dartford

Rate - £290 - £320 per day

Start Date - ASAP

My client are a reputable Main Contractor who specialise in New build, heritage, fit out and steel frame industrial schemes with decades of construction experience.

I am recruiting an External Facades Manager to oversee the Facades Subcontractor on a new build residential scheme. The scheme comprises of 4 residential apartment blocks consisting of 250 apartments.

The external skin will consist of three different cladding types so someone with experience in cladding would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all external works on the site, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
• Coordinate and supervise sub-contractors involved in external works, primarily cladding and including roofing and landscaping
• Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on-site.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Liaise with the project manager and other key stakeholders
• Resolve any on-site issues related to external works promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports and updates to senior management.
• Ensure all external works are completed within budget and to the highest standard.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Externals Site Manager or similar role in residential construction.
• Strong understanding of external works, including facades and cladding
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Valid CSCS card and SMSTS and First Aid
