As seen on BBC1 Master Chef and voted as one of London's Top 100 Restaurants; acclaimed chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias merges the Spanish cuisine of his family with his love of Mexico for his debut London restaurant, Decimo. Expect lots of flavour - open fire cooking, mezcal cocktails, and a dramatically different tortilla - with floor-to-ceiling windows and dramatic views across the London skyline.

We are now looking to grow our team and are seeking dynamic individuals who will capture the very essence of this culinary destination and join our team as a Decimo Waiter/Waitress.

Your role

As a Waiter/Waitress in Decimo at The Standard, London, you will become part of our exceptional team that will provide exceptional food & beverage service. You will of course be passionate about service, with an exceptional working knowledge of restaurant operations and order of service; along with a deep appreciation of quality wines in order to confidently match and suggest wines to compliment guest menu choices and enhancing their overall dining experience.

Finally, and most importantly, you will be a host to our guests adding a touch of personality and theatre to their experience, making our guests feel welcome whilst they visit The Standard and our energetic and vibrant city; so you will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and can handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high volume, high energy environment and can manage multiple tasks and guest with ease.

Do you have what it takes to be a Decimo Waiter/Waitress at The Standard

'Standard People' are at the heart of our brand; vivid, dynamic and engaging, and you'll intrinsically understand the unique microcosm and the context of our venues and city you represent. Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress is key, in addition you will need .

• Strong experience as a Waiter/Waitress ideally gained in a similar 'Lifestyle' boutique hotel, destination or exceptional restaurant
• Confidence in guest experience, restaurant operations, and the order of service
• Highly social, motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
• Flair for service and the ability to build genuine relationships with guests
• Available full-time and fully flexible Tuesday-Saturday, as well as the ability to work late-night (Thurs-Sat 2am close)
• Knowledge of Spanish / Mexican cuisine, open fire cooking, wine, mezcal and tequila is a plus
• Relevant qualifications such as WSET are advantageous but not essential
