Air Conditioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in air conditioning systems, with the ability to maintain, build, and repair various equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership qualities to ensure efficient operation and high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and specifications.
• Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Lead projects involving the installation or upgrade of air conditioning units, coordinating with other trades as required.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and apprentices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in air conditioning systems.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated ability in equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques.
• Effective leadership skills with the capability to manage small teams on-site.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members effectively.
