Job Requirements/Description

We are seeking a commercially astute and quality-driven Domiciliary Care Operations Manager to lead and grow a premium private home care service. This role combines operational excellence with a strong focus on client experience, brand reputation and sustainable business performance.

You will ensure outstanding, person-centred care is being delivered while driving service growth within the private pay market.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver premium, relationship-led home care services

Maintain the highest levels of quality care provision

Drive private client acquisition and retention

Ensure safe, compliant, and financially sustainable operations

Continue to build a high-performing, values-driven workforce

Provide strategic oversight of daily operations across all service areas

Monitor care delivery standards and intervene where performance falls short

Lead capacity planning to support growth in privately funded care packages

Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients with premium assessment processes

Ensure the team maintain strong relationships with families, private case managers and referrers

Protect and enhance the organisation's brand and local reputation

Lead, coach and develop the Registered Manager and senior team

Drive recruitment strategies aligned with premium service expectations

Foster a culture of accountability, compassion and professionalism

Monitor retention, engagement and staff wellbeing

Monitor private revenue, hours delivered and margin performance

Identify growth opportunities within self-funded and live-in care markets

Support marketing initiatives and networking events

Qualifying Criteria:

Ideally a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)

Ideally leadership experience in domiciliary care (although other sectors considered)

Experience within private-pay home care (preferred)

Strong knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements (preferred)

Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams

Commercial awareness and budget oversight experience

Full UK driving licence

Experience scaling a private business

Understanding of live-in care operations (preferred)

Knowledge of digital care planning systems (preferred)

The salary for this role is negotiable on experience, however, we envisage this to be in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 plus a highly lucrative bonus and benefits package.
