CRM Product Lead

Save the Children UK is looking for an individual with extensive Salesforce CRM and Agile Product Ownership experience to join us as our CRM Product Lead. About the role

As CRM Lead (Product Owner), you will own the vision, strategy and delivery roadmap for Save the Children's Salesforce CRM ecosystem, ensuring it continually evolves to meet the needs of our fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement teams. Leading a team of three CRM professionals, you will act as the voice of the business within agile delivery teams, balancing operational, technical and strategic priorities to maximise value from our CRM investment.

This is a highly collaborative role with significant stakeholder engagement across the organisation. You'll spend much of your time working with internal teams, external suppliers and delivery partners to prioritise demand, manage backlogs, facilitate agile ceremonies, drive continuous improvement and ensure successful delivery of CRM enhancements. The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities effectively and is passionate about using technology to deliver social impact.

In this role, you will:

• Own and develop the Salesforce CRM vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and supporter needs.
• Lead, coach and support a team of three CRM professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Manage and prioritise the CRM backlog, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement and other agile ceremonies to ensure effective delivery.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across fundraising, marketing, finance, digital and technology teams, translating business requirements into well-defined user stories and solutions.
• Partner with developers, CRM specialists and external suppliers to deliver high-quality Salesforce enhancements, integrations and releases.
• Oversee CRM performance, data quality and governance, identifying opportunities to improve processes, automation, reporting and supporter experiences.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Significant experience leading Salesforce CRM delivery, optimisation and support, either as a CRM Lead, Product Owner or similar role, with deep knowledge of Salesforce (Sales, Service, and/or Nonprofit Success Pack) essential.
• Experience managing CRM roadmaps, backlogs, and agile delivery.
• Understanding of CRM data models, data governance, and reporting.
• Strong experience with integrations (e.g., finance systems like Agresso, marketing tools, payment processors).
• Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban) and product management practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading teams and creating high-performing environments, with the ability to coach, motivate and develop colleagues.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, capable of managing a high-volume workload and balancing multiple competing demands.
• Experience within the non-profit, charity or fundraising sector would be highly desirable.

Ideally, you'll also bring some or all of the following:

• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst or Product Owner).
• Experience with FinDock or similar payment platforms.
• Knowledge of supporter engagement, fundraising or marketing technology ecosystems within the non-profit sector.

Location & Ways of Working:

The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but at times you will be required to come to your contracted office (usually between 2-4 days per month, depending on the needs of your role, team, or service). For many roles, this is likely to be the minimum required to deliver impact.

This will be discussed and agreed with your manager / team and we encourage candidates to discuss our ways of working in more detail at interview stage.
