• £33,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary commensurate with experience

Housing Officer - Temporary Accommodation - Duties:

• Liaising with councils to allocate social housing stock
• Ensuring the correct placement of tenants into suitable properties
• Handling general property management tasks and addressing tenant enquiries
• Following up on tenant queries and ensuring client satisfaction
• Ensuring properties are ready for occupancy
• Performing administrative duties, including answering incoming calls
• Providing regular updates and reports to the council
• Tracking data and maintaining accurate records using various IT systems
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
• Continuously staying updated on relevant legislation and regulations related to social housing allocations
• Identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions to enhance processes and efficiency

Housing Officer - Temporary Accommodation - Candidate Requirements:

• Experience dealing with Temporary Housing Allocations is essential for this role.
• Knowledge of social housing and council allocation processes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in IT systems and data tracking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
