Nursery Practitioner needed in Redhill!

An amazing opportunity has become available at my client s independent, OFSTED-rated 'Outstanding' private nursery in Redhill. They offer exceptional care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with a thoughtfully designed space split into four vibrant rooms, each dedicated to different age groups. It s an inspiring environment where every child thrives.

At their fantastic nursery in Redhill, they are passionate about preparing children for a bright future. The primary focus is to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need for life readiness, while introducing exciting concepts that will set them up for a smooth and successful transition to Reception.

Nursery Practitioner job details:

• £26,750 - £32,200 per annum depending on experience & qualifications
• 42 hours contracted per week across 4 days
• Open Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm, 51 weeks per year

Nursery Practitioner Main Duties:

• Provide outstanding care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years in a fun, stimulating environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children s development in line with EYFS.
• Observe and track children s progress, celebrating their milestones and achievements.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Be a role model for positive behaviour and support children s social and emotional growth.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
• Tailor activities to meet each child's individual needs and learning style.
• Maintain a clean, organised nursery room, ready for each day s adventures.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Work collaboratively with other Nursery Practitioners and Senior staff to create a fun, supportive environment for both children and staff.

Nursery Practitioner requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery setting
• Level 2 minimum in Childcare or equivalant
