MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Governance Manager for a leading insurance company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee distribution frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion consumer-centric practices in the UK financial services sector.

£60,000 - £70,000

The Role

As Distribution Governance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the company's distribution framework. This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Distribution Governance Manager:

• Oversee and develop the UK&I's distribution monitoring framework
• Manage sales distribution governance and regulatory compliance
• Chair the Salesforce Governance Forum and act as secretary for the Sales & Distribution Committee
• Ensure customer outcomes align with FCA requirements, including Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly principles
• Support regulatory change projects and the transformation agenda

Required knowledge and experience for the Distribution Governance Manager role:

• 3-5 years' experience in a commercial/corporate governance role or commercial role with governance understanding
• Strong UK financial services regulatory knowledge, particularly in consumer duty and other regulatory rules
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across all stakeholder levels
• Customer-first mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
