Senior BMS Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

About the Role
We are working with a leading facilities maintenance provider to recruit a skilled BMS Engineer. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC systems across a state-of-the-art facility in Hertfordshire, with occasional travel to nearby sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repairs for the on-site BMS.
• Troubleshoot BMS/HVAC issues and support site engineering teams in resolving faults.
• Ensure minimal downtime of BMS/HVAC systems and provide technical support to client teams and contractors.
• Assist with compliance-related activities, including completion of reports and documentation.
• Attend operational and technical meetings as required.
• Supervise BMS/Controls Technicians and subcontractors, ensuring safe and effective performance of duties.
• Monitor and maintain the security of the site BMS, ensuring controlled and secure system access.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in a similar BMS engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of JCI Metasys BMS systems and HVAC operations.
