CNC Operator

A rapidly expanding joinery company located in Colchester, Essex are currently looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their team.

This is a permanent role, subject to a 3-month probation period, which is looking to pay between 16 - 18 per hour (depending on experience).

Who are the company?
This business do everything from design through to installation, they work on a variety of commercial & residential projects throughout the UK. Are newly established and are extremely ambitious.

They are looking for a CNC Operator who has a keen eye for detail and will take pride in their work.

Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Duties include:

• Operating CNC machines
• Working from technical drawings, cutting lists and job sheets
• Working within a wood-based environment
• Resolving any technical issues
• Maintain records of production to report any issues that arise
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
• Performing basic machine maintenance as required

Key skills needed:

• Experience operating CNC machines
• Experience working within a woodwork environment
• Ideally have the ability to set up machines
• Must be able to read from technical drawings
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensuring high quality is maintained
• Be proactive and able to multitask
