My client, an award-winning Planning Consultancy, is looking for an experience Town Planner to join the continued and ever-expanding planning team in Reading!

The successful candidate will have excellent career development opportunities, and be involved in all aspects of Planning, working as part of the larger team, and leading your own projects. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across sectors including Housing Delivery, Centres, Retail & Leisure, Education and Employment.

About the Role as a Town Planner

• Provide high-quality planning advice to a diverse range of clients.
• Manage and prepare planning applications, appeals, and policy assessments.
• Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
• Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and community groups.
• Support senior team members while also taking ownership of projects.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.

Requirements as a Town Planner

• A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI-accredited preferred).
• Proven experience in a planning consultancy or local authority role.
• Ambition to achieve or progress towards RTPI chartered status (if not already).
