Supply Desk is seeking a highly qualified and experienced History Teacher to join our team in Buckingham (Buckinghamshire). This full-time role will require you to be adaptable and confident in teaching across all key stages in a secondary school.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Secondary History Teacher with a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The ideal candidate will possess a love for history and be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment that contributes to the overall success of the history department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive history lessons to secondary school students.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic and personal development.
• Plan and implement effective teaching strategies, catering to diverse learning needs and styles.
• Incorporate innovative and technology-driven methods to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to the success of the history department.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative school community.
• Stay informed about educational developments and actively participate in professional development opportunities.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, discipline, and professionalism in line with school policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desired but not essential).
• Specialisation in History or a related subject.
• Passion for History and continuous personal knowledge development.
