About the Role A leading MEP Contractor is seeking experienced
Quantity Surveyors (All Levels) to join two prestigious residential schemes in Central London, with a combined value of £60m. This is a standout opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in MEP Shell & Core and Fit-Out to join one of the UK s largest M&E contractors, specialising in Mechanical, Electrical installation for large-scale residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor - Feasibility Management: Lead cost estimation and feasibility studies from project inception.
- Cost Management: Oversee project costs, including evaluations, procurement, and variations.
- Reporting: Provide monthly cost updates and accurate forecasting to the Commercial Manager and Director.
- Procurement: Manage sub-contractor procurement and present recommendations.
- Contract Administration: Handle claims, variations, and contract compliance.
- Value Management: Optimise costs while ensuring project quality and standards.
- Cashflow Monitoring: Manage project cashflow and oversee invoice reviews.
- Client & Sub-Contractor Applications: Prepare monthly payment applications and assess sub-contractor payments fairly.
Skills and Experience Required - Education: Ideally a degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in M&E or similar sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings for variations, valuations, and take-offs.
- Project Background: Strong experience in commercial or residential environments.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Work Ethic: Highly motivated with a professional attitude and a strong work ethic.
