Assistant Logistics Manager

Assistant Logistics Manager required to support the Logistics Transport Manager. Days and hours of work, Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm. Annual salary is up to £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

This candidate will be experienced in logistics and transport, ready to step up to an AssistantManager level, or offering previous management experience.

Duties:

• Assist in managing supervisors, drivers and the wider team
• Support the Logistics Transport Manager
• Ensure full support for drivers, confirming and monitoring movements
• Liaise with customers regarding updates and changes
• Responsible for escalation and emergencies during shift
• Log arrival times and other data onto Excel
• Assist drivers with any logistical issues
• Raise subcontractor requests for breakdowns

Experience:

• Transport, logistics experience is required
• CPC qualification is beneficial
• Management experience is desirable
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication
