Accountant (Portsmouth)

Our client a forward thinking, independent accountancy practice are seeking an Accountant to join their growing team in Portsmouth.

The position will involve dealing with a mixed portfolio of clients in various industries and duties will include accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, tax and VAT.

You will ideally have at least 3 years' practice experience, with a good accounts background and hold a professional qualification such as AAT/ACCA/ACA or equivalent, although qualified by experience will also be considered.

A strong knowledge of accountancy software including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and IRIS would also be an advantage.
