About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our services for children and young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will work closely with the Children & Young Adults Service Manager to ensure high-quality outcomes, supporting a team of permanent and sessional special needs play workers.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Development:
Design and deliver empowering activity programmes, including storytelling, dance, drama, music, cooking, arts and crafts, sports, group games, messy play, and community outings.
Care and Support:
Provide care for children with high support needs, including managing distressed behaviours, either at our centre, in the community, or within family homes. Adhere to our policies and procedures to ensure safety and quality at all times.
