Decorator / Flower decorator

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and an eye for aesthetics, capable of transforming spaces through colour, texture, and style. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients to bring their visions to life.

Duties

Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.
Develop design concepts and present ideas through sketches or digital renderings.
Select appropriate materials, colours, and furnishings that align with the client's vision.
Execute painting and decorating tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Maintain an organised workspace and ensure all tools and materials are properly managed.
Drive to various locations as required for client consultations or project installations.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to provide innovative solutions.

Requirements

Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Experience in painting and decorating is essential; knowledge of various techniques is a plus.
A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
Strong attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 days

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Ilford IG1 4BS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
