I'm currently working with a well-established and growing firm based in Sidcup, and we're looking to appoint a Protection Adviser to join their team on a full-time, office-based basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced protection professional who enjoys building client relationships face-to-face and providing quality advice across life insurance, critical illness, income protection, and related products.
The role:
- Deliver personalized recommendations across a range of protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and family income benefit.
- Manage a lead pipeline efficiently, follow up on client enquiries, and maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Assist clients throughout the application process, address underwriting questions, and provide ongoing post-sale support.
- Accurately complete all compliance documentation and produce suitability reports in line with FCA regulatory standards.
- Work closely with mortgage advisers and administrative staff to ensure timely and seamless progression of cases.
- Clearly and compliantly explain policy details, benefits, and underwriting requirements.
- Conduct face-to-face or telephone consultations from our office to assess clients' individual financial and personal situations.
- Stay informed about the latest products, provider offerings, and developments within the protection industry.
Requirements:
- Full time office based presence
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a protection or financial advice role (office-based experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of personal protection products and underwriting.
- Qualifications:
- CeMAP (essential)
- CIIRO5 (desirable but not essential)
- CIIRO1 (desirable but not essential)
