The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Paraplanner to join a centralised, high-performing team dedicated to supporting financial advisers and delivering technically accurate, bespoke financial planning solutions. You'll work closely with a team of 18 paraplanners, reporting to a supportive and experienced team leader.

This role blends technical expertise with leadership, offering the chance to mentor junior colleagues, contribute to strategic projects, and have real impact on the quality and consistency of financial planning delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with advisers to support the delivery of personalised, client-focused advice.
  • Lead by example-mentor and coach paraplanning colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Communicate with clarity and professionalism, using plain English and a client-first tone.
  • Support wider business initiatives, including integration work linked to acquisitions.
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes, systems, and service delivery.
  • Share best practices and support paraplanning colleagues during peak periods.

About You

  • A technically strong paraplanner with a background in financial planning/wealth management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a coaching mindset and the ability to lead others informally.
  • Excellent written communication, with a passion for delivering clarity and value to clients.
  • Commercially aware and quality-focused, with the ability to thrive in a monitored and standards-driven environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and ethical-aligned with a values-led approach to client service.

Benefits & Culture

This organisation offers a genuinely people-first environment, with a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture and a clear commitment to staff development.

Benefits include:

  • 25 days holiday (rising to 30 with tenure)
  • Discretionary annual bonus
  • Matched pension contributions up to 7.5%
  • Life assurance (4x salary)
  • Long-term income protection (up to 75% of salary)
  • Access to internal financial planning support
  • Flexible employee benefits (season ticket loans, eye care, childcare vouchers)
  • Retail and lifestyle discount portal

If you're ready to take your paraplanning career to the next level-adding leadership, purpose, and real progression-this is the ideal role for you.
