Location: Harlow, Essex

We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant in the South East of England. You will be working within a leading Health and Safety consultancy, with a strong reputation and professional workforce. They have a growing portfolio of clients from Commercial and Industrial contracts to Local Authority sites. The ideal candidate will have a professional manner and a keen interest within the industry, and will hold relevant industry qualifications. Ideally, you will be located in / around: Harlow, Brentwood, Ilford, Enfield, Basildon, Chelmsford, Bishop's Stortford, Braintree, St Albans, Harrow, Wembley, Watford, Slough, Southall, Richmond, Bracknell, Woking, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Dartford, Gravesend, Grays, Erith, Dagenham, Sidcup, Sevenoaks.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have a successful track record working as a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant
- Will hold relevant Health & Safety / Fire Risk qualifications (i.e. NEBOSH General)
- Must be qualified with the Level 4 in Fire Risk Assessing
- It would be beneficial to have experience working on high-rise properties
- Ideally will be qualified with the CMIOSH or GradIOSH
- Excellent level of industry technical knowledge
- Proactive in keeping up-to-date with industry changes and updates
- Strong written and IT proficiency
- Meticulous and will have an eye for detail

The Role:
- You will be travelling to a varied portfolio of client sites to undertake Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments
- Writing bespoke reports for clients, including findings and any recommendations to implement
- Discussing the findings directly with clients, to ensure comprehension and to answer any technical queries that may arise
- Undertaking quality checks on health and safety and fire risk reports to maintain high levels of service
- Conducting health & safety training to clients and ensuring they remain compliant and updated with any regulation changes
- Training and supporting new members of staff
- Travelling as per company requirements
- Ensuring to work to or exceed targets and deadlines
- Liaising with clients in order to gain access to sites
