Options for being based in Bahrain will also be considered. Required to travel to Bahrain, approximately one week in six but this will be driven by operational needs.
This is a key strategic role to ensure major wastewater treatment project and other associated works is completed to the highest safety and quality standards, on time, within budget and exceeding client expectations.
This includes facilitating and submitting tenders and managing direct and contractor workforces. Apart from having the experience and technical acumen, leadership, communication, teamworking and client relationship management are imperative.

Lead and direct engineering disciplines in the production of project deliverables such as designs, calculations, specifications, proposals, drawings and other documentation as required and to be responsible for their compliance with the company s quality procedures and tender/contract documents.
Demonstrate a strong motivating leadership style which values teamworking with open and honest communications. Working and keeping to designs and plans is critical, but the job holder must have the ability to lead teams through change safely, not compromising quality, ethics or standards.
To lead, direct, review and monitor projects, reporting back in a timely and efficient way, with no surprises to the company or clients.
To manage, promote and maintain relationship with the client by means of meetings, correspondences and other various modes of communications.
Experience/Skills
• Can demonstrate success in similar roles, especially associated to the water industry. • Previous history of successfully leading teams of professional engineers on complex works.
• Financial Management of projects.
• Planning, programming and coordinating major works.
• Desirable if experienced in managing overseas projects.
• Engineering Discipline Qualification
• Membership in accredited organisations is desirable.
