Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor seeking a rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and supportive secondary school environment? We are currently recruiting for a full-time Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes on a temp-to-perm basis from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with prior UK-based Cover Supervisor experience-either general or within a subject specialism-who are looking to develop their career within education. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre-set work across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences and delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
• Supporting students with tasks and encouraging positive learning habits
• Ensuring a safe and productive classroom environment
• Liaising with teaching staff and school leadership to provide feedback and maintain high standards

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a UK secondary school setting
• Confidence managing a classroom environment independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and professional approach to supporting student learning
• Flexibility and reliability, with full-time availability

Essential Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
• Availability to start in September 2025, subject to compliance and vetting processes
