In this role, you will work on planned maintenance projects within the social housing sector, delivering essential refurbishments that improve the quality of life for tenants. About the Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects. Working both from the office and on-site, you will be responsible for:

• Leading on social housing refurbishment projects, such as kitchen, bathroom, window, door, and roofing replacements.
• Collaborating closely with operational teams in Milton Keynes to manage contracts across the region, ensuring cost efficiency and project profitability.
• Obtaining and evaluating information to determine realistic costs for the supply of works, materials, and services.
• Monitoring contract progress, assessing any changes that may impact costs or timelines, and liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients to meet project requirements.
• Preparing and submitting monthly applications for payment and monthly valuation reports.
• Supporting contract managers with project specifications and requirements, and providing value assessments for subcontractors.

About You: To excel in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the social housing sector.
• Strong knowledge of refurbishments and maintenance projects within tenanted properties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Proficiency in IT, especially MS Office.
• A full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements).
• The ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• The role requires a DBS check.
