Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dartford
Salary: £65,000 + Car Allowance

Hill McGlynn is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join a prominent regional main contractor based in Dartford. This well-established company specialises in the construction of care homes, schools, residential projects, and occasional fit-out and refurbishment projects. With a projected turnover of £100 million by 2026, this is an exciting time to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for various projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any financial concerns.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on project financials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications and memberships (e.g., RICS) are desirable.

This role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 along with a car allowance, making it an attractive opportunity for the right candidate.
