Your new company:Based near Bedford we are working with a leading company in the design, development, and manufacture of innovative equipment used in a range of industries from automotive, aerospace, rail and more! Due to increased business and continuous growth, they are now recruiting for a CNC Setter/Operator to join their machine shop team.The CNC Setter/Operator will be part of the machine shop team, producing parts and equipment for manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Set the CNC Machine tools to program setting sheet.

Work to drawings, tool lists and set up sheets to obtain accurate tooling.

Operation of the CNC controls, using basic programming knowledge to produce parts.

Carrying out quality checks

Assembly work

Work with the production team, assembly team, and management, suggesting improvements.

This is a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and duties will be required.
Skills & Experience required:

Experience in a similar role, within an industrial/manufacturing environment

CNC Turning and/or Milling experience

Manual machinery experience would be advantageous.

Ability to work to tight geometric tolerances

Ability to work to engineering drawings and specs.
