An experienced building services provider is seeking a Contracts & Small Works Manager to oversee the delivery of small M&E projects and identify new opportunities. The Contracts & Small Works Manager will need to have a proven track record of managing multi-site Hard FM maintenance contracts, have strong relationship building skills, and have a relevant technical background.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing clients to secure additional revenue opportunities
- Identify and pursue new leads to grow client base and revenue streams
- Meet/exceed sales targets for quoted works
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions
- Plan and manage small M&E projects with a focus on timely, high-quality delivery
- Optimise project delivery processes
- Monitor project performance
- Address project challenges proactively
- Conduct post-project evaluations
- Manage and support colleagues and contractors
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of planned and reactive M&E services
- Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and identify training needs
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Prepare/manage budgets for contracts / projects
- Conduct regular client meetings
- Compile and analyse KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure full statutory compliance across all contracts and projects
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
- A proven track record of managing multi-site Hard FM maintenance contracts
- Demonstrable success in driving sales and building strong client relationships
- Supervisory experience with a solid technical background relevant to this role
- Experience managing small works, projects and delivering financial targets
- Advanced IT proficiency
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligibility for a DBS disclosure
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail
- Analytical and financial acumen to maximise project profitability
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and sales development
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel as required
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
