Role Overview:
The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the on-site maintenance, inspection, repair, and compliance of fire alarm systems at a single static site. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a fixed location.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems, ensuring continuous operation and compliance
• Identify and resolve technical issues with fire alarm systems promptly, minimizing downtime.
• Monitor the performance and status of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and testing, ensuring all systems meet regulatory standards (e.g., BS 5839).
• Collaborate with on-site management and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any system concerns.
• Advise on necessary system upgrades or improvements to enhance fire safety measures.
• Follow all site-specific health and safety protocols, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
• Essential:
  
  • Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
  • Knowledge of Gent alarm systems
  • Familiarity with BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
