Dedicated and Enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Required - Potential for Teachers Training - London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in London. We are seeking a passionate individual to support students in their academic and personal development, working closely with teachers to ensure a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who require additional help.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning atmosphere.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning journey.
• Assist in preparing classroom resources and learning materials.
• Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive.

About You:We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

• Has a passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with students.
• Has prior experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) (preferred but not mandatory).
• Is adaptable, proactive, and willing to support the wider school community.
• Has a good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above).
