SEMH LSA

We are recruiting for a position as a SEMH LSA this role is full time and set to start immediately please only apply if you can work full time.

Are you patient, caring, and passionate about helping children succeed? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a student with ADHD and sensory sensitivities.

Your Key Responsibilities as a SEMH LSA:

• Provide movement breaks and sensory support to help the student focus.
• Reduce anxiety during transitions and unstructured times by escorting and supporting the student.
• Teach emotional regulation and social skills, tailored to their needs.
• Work closely with the student s family to ensure consistency between home and school.
• Keep the student s routine predictable and help them prepare for changes.
• Collaborate with specialists, like Occupational Therapists, to meet their physical and emotional needs.

• Patient and understanding, with a calm and caring approach.
• Organised and structured, able to keep routines consistent and clear.
• A good communicator
