# Job Opportunity: Community Safety Officer - London Borough of Harrow

Eden Brown Synergy is working with Harrow Council to recruit an Interim Community Safety Officer . This role focuses on tackling anti-social behaviour and enhancing public safety across the borough. You will collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and the community to develop and implement effective safety solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address anti-social behaviour and coordinate enforcement actions .
• Provide technical advice to residents, businesses, and key stakeholders.
• Issue legal documents, warnings, and enforcement notices .
• Investigate complaints , prepare prosecutions , and attend court hearings when required.
• Develop and support community safety initiatives and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with PACE, CPIA, RIPA, and other relevant legislation .
• Lead public awareness campaigns to promote safety and well-being.
• Contribute to policy development and service improvement strategies .

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in community safety, enforcement, or related fields .
- Strong knowledge of anti-social behaviour legislation and enforcement processes .
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively .
- Proficiency in IT systems for casework recording and performance analysis .
