Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team in a large nursing home setting in East London. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and operational efficiency within the nursing home. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Provide strong clinical leadership and support to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to all residents.
- Care Planning: Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans for residents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Staff Management: Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and promoting a positive working environment.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, addressing any areas for improvement.
- Resident Care: Ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents are met through comprehensive and compassionate care practices.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support.
- Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest clinical practices, regulations, and guidelines, and facilitate ongoing professional development for the nursing team.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current NMC registration.
- Experience: Significant experience in a senior nursing role within a large nursing home or similar setting.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent leadership and management abilities, effective communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices in elderly care.
