Electrical Contracts Manager
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor that works extensively across councils, housing associations, and infrastructure projects. They are looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager to take ownership of projects ranging from £100k to £6 million, covering mains and infrastructure upgrades, lighting, emergency lighting, and lateral mains upgrades.
This is a long-term career opportunity with a business that has a strong reputation, low staff turnover, and a culture that prioritises teamwork over corporate KPIs. You ll have the autonomy to manage your own projects from start to finish, with the support of a collaborative and experienced team.

The Role:
- Overseeing multiple electrical projects from inception to completion.
- Managing clients, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Handling project planning, resource allocation, and financial management.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry regulations.
- Using Office 365, Excel, and other software tools to manage project documentation.
- Managing projects in older building stock (1960s construction) and ensuring proficiency in metal containment and ICR testing.
What We re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager, ideally within council and housing association projects.
- Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure while managing client relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel, Office 365, and project management software.
- Experience with metal containment, ICR testing, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Motivated, proactive, and able to run projects with minimal supervision.
