Join us as a Pricing Manager

  • You'll be at the forefront of strategic decision making in the bank, driving the delivery of customer goals and financial success through effective pricing strategies, in line with risk appetite and regulatory requirements
  • You’ll work with stakeholders to actively manage the business portfolio in line with our strategy and risk appetite so that we can drive up the return on capital employed
  • In doing so, you’ll benefit from excellent exposure as you face off to senior stakeholders including directors and executives

What you'll do

As a Pricing Manager, you’ll be driving engagement with business heads and function partners to help manage the portfolio of products in line with the executive committee’s strategy and risk appetite. You'll lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies and collaboration with cross-functional teams to align on overall business goals. Along with this, you'll play a crucial role in leveraging enhanced pricing capabilities through advanced analytical tooling to optimise pricing performance at scale and pace.

You’ll also be:

  • Supporting the directors to lead on pricing related issues
  • Working with senior team members to produce advice and guidance for teams on pricing
  • Providing insight on internal and external pricing benchmarks
  • Providing input to balance sheet, capital, sector and asset class budgeting and forecasting
  • Utilising advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyse vast datasets, enabling data-driven price decisions

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have industry experience gained in a pricing and commercial environment. As you’ll be engaging with senior stakeholders on a daily basis, we’ll look to you to bring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll also need:

  • A background of working in teams engaged in relationship management and portfolio management activities
  • An excellent understanding of key income drivers across product lines to achieve financial targets
  • Strong commercial and analytical skill-sets, with the ability to extract insights from complex data to identify commercial opportunities
  • An ownership mindset, taking responsibility for pricing strategies and driving them to fruition
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
