Facade Designer

Job Title: Fa ade Designer
Location: London (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Overview:
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Fa ade Designer to join a growing, design-led contractor delivering some of London's most exciting high-end commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. This is a great opportunity to work on a mix of new build and cut-and-carve schemes, collaborating with a close-knit team on challenging and prestigious developments.
Experience in stonework detailing is a plus, but facade design experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and develop detailed fa ade design drawings and technical documentation
• Collaborate with the Design Manager, project teams, and external consultants to deliver coordinated design solutions
• Ensure all design work complies with building regulations, project specifications, and client requirements
• Contribute to design meetings, workshops, and reviews throughout all project stages
• Assist in value engineering and innovative design solutions that enhance buildability and performance

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in fa ade design (curtain walling, cladding, glazing, rainscreen systems etc.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design tools; Revit experience is a bonus
• Previous experience working on facade packages for a contractor, sub-contractor, or specialist design consultancy
• Stonework detailing experience is desirable but not essential
• A keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working on projects across London, with some hybrid flexibility
