My client is seeking a Senior Town Planner for a contract role within the Town Plannng sector. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with experience in Development Management and Town Planning, looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and processing a range of complex planning applications
  • Undertaking site visits to assess planning applications and proposals
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations on planning matters
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to planning committees
  • Liaising with developers, architects, and the public effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant planning legislation and policies
  • Participating in public inquiries and appeals as required


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Development Management and Town Planning
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in report writing and presenting information clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (preferable)
