Daily Supply Teaching Assistant - Luton - 8:30 - 3:30 daily - 85-95 per day PAYE

Are you a motivated and flexible Primary Teaching Assistant who is looking for flexibility in their work? Are you happy to work in different schools on a weekly basis?

Tradewind are currently working with mainstream and SEN schools across Luton who require daily cover to help deal with ongoing sickness and absence. As a supply Teaching assistant you will be working with a range of different schools and children on a weekly basis. You will need to be flexible in your approach and happy to support the school in whatever way possible during their day with them. For the strongest candidates, you will often be invited back frequently to our partner schools. Long-term roles are also available for those who are looking for more stability.

A large proportion of the roles you will be covering will be working with children with SEN including ASD, ADHD, MLD and on occasion more complex needs. We are looking for people who are caring, nurturing and have an ability to build rapport quickly. Working with children with SEND can be challenging but it is also extremely rewarding for those capable of being resilient and breaking down barriers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with children with SEND needs in a range of schools
• Work closely with permanent staff to ensure a high level of education takes place during the day
• Build strong relationships with students quickly
• Find creative ways to ensure learners are engaged

About you

• Passionate about working with children with SEN
• Available 3 days a week
• A driving license and willingness to travel up to 45 minutes for work
• Reliable and flexible
