Glazing Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Glazing Manager possessing experienceof all aspects of glazing. We are Not just talking about windows & doors, as your experience must include architectural glazing (showers, mirrors, splashbacks, balustrades etc). Projects covering both the commercial and domestic sectors. This is an exciting office-based role, with occasional visits to client sites.

Here, you will be responsible for overseeing operations, managing projects, scheduling works and resources whilst liaising with every stakeholder throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all glazing operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards
• Manage and motivate a team of fitters, providing leadership and technical support
• Plan and coordinate projects, from initial client consultation to final installation and aftercare
• Review site surveys and liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
• Monitor health and safety compliance, always ensuring a safe working environment
• Manage stock levels, ordering materials as required
• Handle customer queries, resolving any issues efficiently to maintain excellent client relationships
• Work closely with senior management to drive business growth and operational improvements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the glazing / construction industry, with experience gained in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• An in-depth understanding of glass installation techniques, materials, and industry regulations
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
• Experience with project management and scheduling
• A commitment to health and safety best practices (RAMS and Risk Assessments)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence (not essential)
