Job Title: Mortgage & Protection Administrator
Reporting to: Administration Manager
Purpose of the Role:Provide efficient administrative support to advisers, ensuring applications for mortgages, protection, and general insurance are processed accurately, promptly, and compliantly.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Duties:
- Maintain a professional image to uphold the company's reputation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, advisers, and introducers.
- Build strong working relationships with advisers and external partners.
- Assist senior management with ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Adhere to company procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Mortgage Processing:
- Manage mortgage applications from submission to legal completion.
- Ensure applications are accurate and include all required documentation.
- Communicate with lenders, solicitors, and clients to resolve queries and track progress.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date case notes for compliance.
Protection Processing:
- Oversee protection applications to policy approval.
- Liaise with providers, clients, and medical practitioners to avoid delays.
- Confirm policies align with client preferences and compliance requirements.
General Insurance Processing:
- Process insurance applications to policy approval.
- Work with providers to ensure timely issuance and accuracy.
Compliance & Customer Care:
- Ensure all applications meet regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
- Support a culture of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) by ensuring processes align with customer needs and recommending improvements where needed.
